Subcontracting is a business exigency and almost a necessity when handling a large project or when there is a need to engage another specialist to accomplish a certain Contract work and to supplement the main activity. This document template comes handy to define the relationship with a subcontractor, terms and conditions for its continuance and thus objectively satisfies the purpose and reasons, for the parties concerned.
The agreement can also be signed by an Indian Contractor with a person, firm or company outside India or by a foreign entity assigning contract to an Indian subcontractor. No doubt, it covers the concept of subcontracting where both the parties belong to one country, city or state – India or outside.
